Excel add-in: setup guide
A CraftWay panel inside Excel that turns a sheet of orders into client links.
⏱ About 5 minutes
Before you start: an API key
Each integration signs in to CraftWay with an API key. In CraftWay open Setup → API, give the key a name (for example Excel) and click Create API key. Copy the key straight away — it's shown only once.
Use a separate key for each integration or teammate, so you can switch one off without breaking the others.
Download the add-in
In CraftWay open Setup → Plugins and click Download add-in (.zip). Unzip the file.
Install it in Excel for Windows
In the unzipped folder, right-click install.ps1, choose Run with PowerShell and approve the prompt. Close Excel completely and open it again, then go to Home → Add-ins → More Add-ins → Shared Folder, pick CraftWay and click Add.
If Windows blocks the script: open PowerShell in the unzipped folder and run Set-ExecutionPolicy -Scope Process Bypass, then .\install.ps1.
Using Excel on the web or a Mac instead?
Open a workbook and choose Insert → Add-ins → Upload My Add-in, then pick manifest.xml from the unzipped folder.
Connect to CraftWay
On the Home tab, click CraftWay to open the panel. Paste your CraftWay address (https://craftway.app) and your API key, click Test, then Save.
Choose your columns
Tell the panel which columns hold each order's title, stage and date. CraftWay writes the client link (and its own ID) back into the columns you choose.
Create the links
Click Sync all rows — every row gets a client link. Later, Sync selected rows updates just the rows you selected.
